Frequently Asked Questions
Using Tweeterview
- 1. Do I have to use my Twitter account details?
- No. We validate you using Twitter and Oauth authentication. We do not store or keep your password for twitter. As long as you authenticate with Twitter correctly you can use all the Tweeterview functions.
- 2. How do I create a Tweeterview?
- You need to login (means creating an account) and then click on the [create Tweeterview tab] in the blue menu. Follow the 3 steps, and your interviewee will get sent a tweet request from you. If they accept then you can start the Tweeterview from the page [My Tweeterviews].
- 3. I have been invited to a Tweeterview. What does that mean?
- Oh, it means you are special (or controversial) and someone wants to conduct a 'Twitter Interview' (Twinterview / Tweeterview) with you. Your choice of course, you can ignore them or you can login in and choose Accept / Reject. If you reject it then they get told that and hopefully will leave you alone :P, if you accept then at the time of the Tweeterview you will get reminded to join in.
- 4. What time zone is all this in?
- If you are not logged in all time is set at GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) so everyone is on a global time platform, not some arbitrary USA time zone (yeck). Once you login you can set your preferred time zone and then when logged in all times are in your local time. This way you can work out if you will be around at the time of the Tweeterview or not. Make sense?
- 5. Do I need to be logged in to view a Tweeterview?
- No, if you are just watching a Tweeterview Live or a published one you can see that without logging in at all. You only need to login to Participate in Tweeterviews as either the interviewer or the interviewee.
- 6. Do I need any software?
- No, nothing but your web browser.
